It's a birthday month for the Mathenge famireee! Nameless and Wahu's firstborn daughter Tumiso is celebrating her 16th birthday today.

The mother of two shared a heartwarming message for her first daughter, walking down memory lane of when she was a small baby.

Wahu recounted the first day she held her daughter who is now all grown. Wahu who is expecting her third child thanked God for the journey as she wished Tumiso a happy birthday.

"In the early hours of 1st of August 2006, I held you in my arms for the very first time...tears flowed freely as I examined every inch of the little person who had been forming in me for nine exciting months. I genuinely can't describe that moment," Wahu wrote.

Wahu assured her that she would continue protecting her and asked her fans to help her celebrate her daughter.

"Today..that little person turns a full 16 years old!! I'm overjoyed and grateful to God for you @tumi.mathenge my sweetheart.....my tomato...my angel...my sweet love.

God, continue to engulf this young queen with your love. Protect her and give her wisdom and grace to negotiate this life, and continue to guide her into her beautiful purpose.

For his part, Baba Tumiso who is abroad on tour also had some lovely words to write about his firstborn.

"My firstborn, my mental twin! My princess, my pride and Joy!! You turning 16 today and I just can't keep calm. " he started.

He added that Tumiso had helped him evolve and made him understand purpose like no other.

"I am happy and blessed to witness the lady you're turning out to be... A wise, compassionate and independent spirit! I am excited for your future self! You are a blessed soul," he finished.

On her 15th birthday, Wahu and Nameless held a white and gold-themed birthday party for her. Tumiso and her friends were treated to a picnic party during the day.

During their picnic, Sauti Sol's Bien played guitar for the birthday girl, singing the 'My Everything' song.

The birthday party did not end during the day, Tumiso and her friends went on partying late into the night. The girls, who spent the night at Wahu's living room also enjoyed a Karaoke night.
