How DJ Shiti sent a love message to his dad's friend

• Shiti who was hosted by Mwafreeqa on 'Iko nini' podcast was talking about the challenges he faced growing up in an era where mobile phones weren't easily available as today.

Comedian Steven Oduor Dede popularly known as DJ Shiti has shared a hilarious story of how he ended up sending a love text message to his dad's friend instead of his girlfriend.

Shiti who was hosted by Mwafreeqa on 'Iko nini' podcast was talking about the challenges he faced growing up in an era where mobile phones weren't easily available as today.

He said, "Things were hard but my dad had a 'kabambe' phone so it was Valentine's day and everyone was sending their lovers love messages. So I borrowed my father's phone so I could send my girlfriend a sweet Valentine's text message.

Little did I know that the text wasn't delivered to my girlfriend but to my dad's friend."

He says immediately his dad's friend, mzee Oyengo received the love message he called his dad to know why he was receiving such an odd message.

unbeknownst to him, Shiti's dad asked whether the message was about their scheduled meeting, before he was informed of the contents of the text message.

The message read, "I wish I could hold you tight tonight, squeeze you in my arms."

Early this year, DJ Shiti found himself on the receiving end of angry Kenyans after his baby mama made some very interesting claims about him, even calling him a witch doctor.

She also alleged that he had sent her Ksh 150 as support for the home something that really got her seething.

The comedian had tried to make light of the explosive and embarrassing expose' in an Instagram post.

In the post, the funnyman had written something that hinted at what he was going through at the moment with his caption reading, "Heri ungenipata hizi Enzi..Binadam bwana 🤔"

But Kenyans weren't interested in playing nice in the comments section and trolled him for his alleged infractions against his baby mama.
