Nandy and Billnass got married in a splendid and lavish ceremony that is a contender for the wedding of the year.

While most weddings are a drain on the finances of the couple, Nandy and BillNass made out like bandits with the couple leaving the Tsh 167 million richer.

And how did they get all that money? Their wedding committee gave them Tsh 167 million as a gift which is approximated to be  Ksh 8.4 million.

And that's not all! The couple was also gifted a car worth Tsh 65 million ( Ksh 3.3 million)!

"This is a small amount that was remaining, we will put it in their account. We felt like the cheque is not enough because they are artistes and they have a big team. With this gift, we have decided to also buy them a car which is worth Tsh 65 million," said the chairman of the committee.

While the wedding gifts above are impressive they pale in comparison with what some celebrities internally have received from their friends.

When famous football agent, Jorge Mendes got married in 2015, he and his wife Sandra were presented with the gift of a Greek island from Portuguese footballer Christiano Ronaldo.

Ronaldo who also served as his best man gave his superstar agent the gift that is thought to run into the millions of dollars.

It wasn't clear which island Ronaldo purchased, but Greece put up about a dozen islands up for sale, plus several mainland swaths of land, along with public utilities like its mail service, Athens' sewage company, major highways and Olympic stadiums.

On the website Private Islands Online, at the time one island was going for an average of €3m (Ksh 357,884,292)
