"No one shows off their struggle, everyone wants to look like success itself. Akothee is one real deal, what you see is what you get. Be careful whom you follow, do they motivate, inspire you, or do they choke you with lies and make you feel like, you are not living?"

Akothee added that social media hype can drug someone into total depression.

"My friend, you must work hard. To have good things, the good life comes with sacrifices, not with iPhone, filters, and backgrounds. You can never earn a penny for being famous. Most people are just famous for being famous with zero investments, and zero earnings.

Think fame can only take you to big hotels, free intimacy and free foods. Ask celebs."

The singer asked her fans to stop comparing themselves to celebrities online and instead work hard for their successes.

In her Facebook post, Akothee said everyone is the master planner of their life, and what one does today reflects their future.

"Now get out of social media, stop comparing your current situation with someone's chapter 20. Ask yourself where you want to be in 10 years from now," she advised.

Akothee added that she started building her empire when she was 14 years old.

"Please before you hate your hustle, appreciate yourself for doing well. Social media is a scam, be careful about what you consume, before you commit suicide for things that don't even exist," she said.

She told her fans to stop comparing their lives with what they see celebrities post online as nobody shares about their struggles.
