• Mary has confessed that her gospel musician husband impregnated her when she was 16 years.

• The gospel musician is a deadbeat according to her account.

Mary Wanunu is the hot Kenyan cop who leaves hearts fluttering online. The prison-based cop was recently interviewed by Jeff Kuria and opened up about falling pregnant in high school for her baby daddy who was a musician.

She revealed how their relationship developed during her school days to when she found out she was pregnant for him and the domestic violence that ensued after they started living together.

The pregnancy also led to a very uncomfortable conversation with her folks more so her dad, a former cop.

Mary met him in 2010, when she used to sing a lot of his songs when she was at Komothai Girls School.

"I loved entertainment and all things internet, so they used to come and perform, just the way musicians go to high schools to perform for students, he used to sing gospel those days although I have never spoken about him before so we met one of those days of entertainment and I was a huge fan of his.

"In fact, at some point, people used to call me his name, and it was because during the Sunday entertainment, students are selected to go on stage and sing their favorite song. So every Sunday I used to sing his music. whether he was there or not. So when he used to come, we would talk a lot and I even used to dance with him."

Mary said that that was in 2010, and their chats were very innocent until she almost cleared school. That's when things got serious with Mary defending dating a 26-year-old man saying,

"I mean I was a little grown-up we started talking, started meeting up we used to meet outside before I ever went to his house. I went to his house when I was finishing form 4."

That is when the pregnancy happened something that didn't please her parents in the slightest.

"My parents were very frustrated actually you see I was a very bright student in school they had hope in me to become an important person So the day I told them I was pregnant they were very shocked."

My family had begun noticing was changing so my mum asked me what is going on and I told her I was pregnant. so they called a family meeting and confronted me. They demanded to meet him to confirm he was responsible for the pregnancy."

The fact that she was underage and had to skip school plus their ambitions for her led to family disputes.

"I had not reached 17 years yet, My parents were upset because they had planned to take me to college but now I am pregnant and have ruined their plans. So I was told to pack my bags and leave with him."
