Gengetone singer Mejja has for the first time addressed his breakup with ex-lover Wairimu.
The story between Mejja and Wairimu has always caused a lot of debate with each blaming the other for their failed relationship.
Recently, during Mejja's birthday, the ex-lover cursed him rather than wishing him a happy birthday.
Wairimu shared a previous photo with Mejja, with a harsh message to him on her Instagram page.
Here is what she wrote;
"Happy Birthday idiot. I wish you nothing but bad life. I mean you have to pay for your wicked ways. Jibambe."
This is not the first time, Wairimu had spoken out about being in a toxic relationship with the singer.
In a past Q&A session on Instagram, Milly revealed that she left Mejja alleging he was toxic. She however did not give details on what caused her to say that.
While speaking to Massawe Japanni on Radio Jambo, Mejja said the reason he has never responded to the accusations is that they are all lies.
"I have never responded to those comments. I have moved on with life and I no longer care about what she said," he said.
"I did not do anything to her. I do not want it to be a back and forth with her. I know my peace. I have not apologized since I am not guilty."
Mejja went on to state that his manager has never wanted him to speak about the whole issue.
He clarified that people should stop calling Wairimu his baby mama.
"I want to rectify and make it known that she is not a mother of my children. I am the one who loved her with her kids. I have my baby mama who gave birth to my kids and it's not her. My baby mama is not even on my social media. She works in a sensitive field of work."
Speaking about why he has not been involved in any political party, Mejja said he does not want to divide his fans.
"I am not involved in any political party. I am not affiliated with any party because I don't want to divide Genge fans. I want my fans to vote and do it peacefully. The youths should be careful not to be used by our politicians. The idea is to make sure we vote those who will make change in our lives."
