Young, Famous and African has been nominated in the BEST INTERNATIONAL SHOW category, alongside some of the best reality shows in the world.
The 11th National Reality TV Awards is set to take place on July 28 at the Porchester Hall in London and the voting process is currently open. See below for details.
“Young, Famous & African” is the only African show to make the cut.
Fans are eager to know when the second season will be aired. Speculation is rife that cast members are shooting. Diamond and Zari were in Kenya recently and many say they were shooting content for the second season.
Other Africans on the Netflix reality show shot in Johannesburg are actress Khanyi Mbau, Nadia Nakai, Diamond Platnumz, Swanky Jerry, and Zari the Boss Lady among others.
This year over 5.7 million submissions were received for nominations for the various categories in which the public gets to vote for their favourite shows, celebrities or participants as the winners.

The show premiered on March 18th and has seven episodes.
Set in Johannesburg, the series follows some of the most prominent and affluent personalities hailing from South Africa, Nigeria, and East Africa as they take their music, acting, style, and entrepreneurial careers to higher heights.
The series also follows the swanky set of friends (and some exes) as they try to find love, whether by dating new people, rekindling romances with former flames, or creating a love triangle.
