Gospel singer Joyce Omondi has spoken out on the reason she keeps her marriage life private.
Speaking in a recent interview with YouTuber Nicholas Kioko, Joyce said she only made her vows to her husband Waihiga and that is very special.
"It's not a secret that I'm married, but I keep things private because I only did the wedding with Waihiga alone," she said.
Waihiga and Joyce tied the knot on December 18, 2015, in a colorful wedding ceremony at Sawela Lodge in Naivasha.
Joyce added that she only exchanged rings with her husband and therefore would guard her union.
"For me, my marriage to him is something very special, it's a covenant that I have with him and God and I want to treasure it and I did not make my vows to everybody, it's something that I guard and treasure that way," she said.
Speaking about her experience working together in the same company, Joyce said;
"You know we don't even bump into each other that much because he's in mostly during the week and I only go in on Sundays. He's in a different department, he also leads a department at Citizen and I am under production so we never even meet at work contrary to what most people think."
Early this week, the stunning gospel singer Joyce Omondi expressed how happy she was to share a life with her husband Waihiga.
"Thank you for who you are and all you do. You truly are a gift worthy of celebration every day. So here's to many more years filled with joy, love, grace, and every good thing from above! Also, it's that smile for me," she wrote.
