Singer Otile Brown has revealed that the long-distance relationship with his Ethiopian girlfriend was the reason they broke up.

Speaking to Presenter Ali, Otile said Nabayet had unsettled issues back home that hindered her from relocating.

"We did not break up because of infidelity. We are grown up and long-distance and a lot of family issues. I understood that she had unavoidable issues," he said.

Otile said they amicably ended their relationship without holding any grudges.

"When you are mature enough, you stop doing things through feeling and instead use your brain. I wanted her to relocate but due to unavoidable reasons she was not able."

Otile agreed that the breakup affected him since Nabayet was a good woman.

"Getting a woman is not hard since we meet them every day, but getting a good woman is not easy. If you find her, keep her," he said.

He said as a celebrity, dating is challenging as people tell you negative stories about a woman you are dating.

"When I start dating any woman, people send me DMs telling me I should not be with her and as much as she was solid, you start drowning from what people are saying and that cost you in one way or another," he said.

He spoke about his toughest moments when they were together.

"My toughest moment was when I was involved in an accident, Nabayet was also sick and my granny was sick and times were really tough. She was checked and the doctor said she had a liver problem. It was a misdiagnosed but we were stressed."

Otile also addressed his fans saying the reason he rarely does interviews is that he isn't good at doing them.

"I know sometimes am not available for interviews but am still working on myself. I still feel am not good at this, I know at this position, am expected to be really good but I am true. Greatness is wisdom and wisdom is honest. I just don't like interviews. Thank you for holding me down."
