• Rayvanny had said that he made the house specifically so he could burn it for the music video.

• New information is emerging that Rayvanny might have lied about the house he burnt.

Rayvanny is trending at the moment after news emerged that he had burnt his home for his recent music video, ‘I miss you’, featuring Zuchu.

“It was my dream to make everything as real as possible during the video shoot. I said I will build a house and then set it on fire and my team thought I was crazy. But we did and we burnt down all of it to make the video shoot look real," he said.

But it has now come to light that Rayvanny might not have been entirely honest with his fans concerning the house he burnt.

Popular Tanzanian blog, Jaymaudaku informed fans that the house Rayvanny burnt was a prop as it was made of boxes.

"Imebainika kuwa nyumba aliyoijenga Rayvanny na kuichoma moto imejengwa kwa mabox sio ya matofali na bati kama wengi walivyodhani 😄" (It has been discovered that the house that Rayvanny built and set on fire is built of boxes not of brick and tin as many thought 😄)

Kenyans had reacted in shock to the news with some admiring the lengths to which the singer had gone for his art.
