The content creator and food/travel enthusiast Tatiana Karanja, popularly known by her Instagram handle Mama Olive just welcomed a new bundle of joy to the family.

Her third-born (another girl to add to the list) whom Tatiana has already revealed her name

She chose to name the little baby Nova aka baby Muthoni (as of her Instagram post, thinking Muthoni is her second name or Nova is her nickname, sorta confusing)

Sadly though, the media personality received news that her baby might have jaundice and the news almost crushed her.

Documenting the joys of motherhood, Tatiana allowed us into this emotional and intimate moment. She took to her insta stories and wrote, " This little one might have jaundice so we're waiting on lab results. I know all will be well, just another thing to get through then get home."

A few hours later she informed her dotting fans that she had been discharged ( she underwent CS during delivery) but baby Nova had to stay overnight as they awaited the doctor's diagnosis.

She added, " I was discharged but Nova was not. She has to stay an extra night for her Jaundice. I'm not going to lie, I'm finding this a little difficult even though I know logically this is a really simple thing and truly there could be a lot worse things happening."

Tatiana later on updated us on the progress of her little one letting us know that she was doing better and they were getting discharged. She posted, " Nova is doing much better after a night of phototherapy, Thank God. It went a lot better than I anticipated... We  have been discharged!!!"

Jaundice, also known as icterus, is a yellowish or greenish pigmentation of the skin and whites of the eyes due to high bilirubin levels.
