Songstress Nadia Mukami has promised her music fans a comeback to the entertainment scene after a three months maternity leave.

Nadia in a recent post told her fans that she would be releasing a new project soon.

On the same note, the mother of one updated her fans on how her motherhood journey is taking her.

Speaking about her breastfeeding experience, Nadia said it is not as easy as it seems to be.

Nadia said she has added weight as she has had to eat more so her son could get enough milk.

"I had never been heavier than 55 kg but now I am 63 kg because I am breastfeeding exclusively so I have to eat a lot every now and then. It is a sacrifice because I don’t want to lack milk," she said.

"Breastfeeding is work and it's not as easy as it seems. Actually, you gain more weight during breastfeeding than during pregnancy."

Nadia also responded to a question on what she craved most while pregnant.

"Mkate na maziwa. I won’t mention the specific brands for obvious reasons but I had specific brands na harufu ya mbuzi (and the smell of a sheep). Up to date nachukia nyama ya ngombe sana (I still hate beef )," she said.

On how she has maintained her mental health, Nadia said at times she was overwhelmed.

"I have tried to protect it so much. Sometimes I was overwhelmed and wondered if I am a good mom but I accepted help as a new mum to keep my sanity. If you get help from friends and family don’t hesitate."
