Rapper King Kaka and his wife Nana Owiti celebrate their anniversary every year on May 23.

Yesterday, the couple who are a true definition of grass to grace took to their social media to gush over each other for their journey together.

Through his Facebook page, Kaka shared photos accompanied by a lovely message expressing his love for Nana Owiti. He then thanked her for always being by his side through thick and thin.

Kaka also promises that he will spend the rest of his life with Nana till old age.

"Today marks 11 years with this beautiful person of mine. Our anniversary. Thank you for all the lessons, thanks for holding me down, thanks for creating room for conversations and words can’t describe you," he wrote.

"Thanks for defining what love is. We have many more years to come. We keep thanking God for this union. Nakupenda and Asante Best Friend and Wife @nanaowiti Hadi tukunje Mgongo."

Their anniversary comes two weeks after Nana Owiti threw a lavish surprise birthday party for King Kaka.

Last year, King Kaka spent months in hospital and his wife was always there to give him hope.

After he left the hospital bed, Kaka offered kind words and praises to everyone who stood with him and most especially his wife Nana Owiti.

"Let me count my blessings. The last three months has been nothing short but terrifying, this lady here Nana Owiti has shown and proven what a wife and a best friend is," he wrote.

King Kaka went on to say that he’s grateful to her for managing to balance taking care of him and working on TV at the same time and mostly for praying and encouraging him to carry on.

"From sleeping in hospital couch next to my bed then you wake up shower in the same hospital, go and smile on TV like everything is okay to fighting with nurses on why they are ‘slow’, to praying and encouraging me to eat, to sponge-bathing me when the temperatures were too high," he wrote.
