Gospel musician, Rozinah Mwakideu, is happy to be alive after a tough year.
Rozinah is the elder sister to Milele FM radio presenter, Alex Mwakideu, and ex-wife to life couch Robert Burale.
In a recent post, Rozinah said she was hospitalised for two months in 2021 after contracting Covid-19.
Rozinah recounted how the past three years have been tough for her. She was hospitalised in the ICU for two weeks in July last year.
In a video on her Instagram, the mother of one shared a post narrating her past life experience.
"When I think of how God has been good. The last three years have been something. From losing both my sister and mother in a span of four months," she wrote.
"Being in ICU for two weeks and in hospital for two months. Being engaged, and breaking off the engagement. Losing several loved ones to Covid-19...to now being a grandma. I'm convinced that for all who feel life has been burdensome, God is working things out."
During her admission to the hospital last year, her family took to social media to appeal for help to settle a bill of KSh 900k.
“Our dear sister, mother, friend, and gospel artiste Rozinah Mwakideu was Hospitalized on 8th July 2021. On Monday 12th July, her condition deteriorated. She was transferred to ICU where she battled with Covid-19 complications for two weeks. We thank God that she is now stable and about to be discharged from Hospital.
Due to the costly medication, equipment and special care required, the outstanding medical expenses stand at Ksh. 900, 000 as at 31ST July 2021.
We are kindly appealing for your financial support and prayers during this time."
