Controversial singer Bahati has hit a milestone after he managed to clock a million subscribers on YouTube. Bahati becomes the second Kenyan musician to hit the milestone.
Otile Brown was the first Kenyan artiste who surpassed the 1 million subscribers in February this year.
YouTube’s Gold Play Button is a testament to the hard work and dedication a creator has shown in developing their channel to this level.
Just like Otile, Bahati is expected to receive his 1 million subscriber plaque anytime from now.
Bahati hit the milestone after the release of his latest song featuring his lover Diana Marua.
The track released on Monday, May 23 highlights their love and marital bliss that has withstood all the challenges.
In the song, Bahati serenades his wife Diana B with all the sweet nothings every woman would want to hear after nearly five years of marriage.
On the other end, Diana thanks Bahati for staying by her side even as trolls told him to leave her over their age difference.
In other lyrics, Diana also says that their love has lasted so long despite the 'mtaachana tu' batallion saying they would split.
She takes aim at Diamond Platnumz saying her marriage unlike his, has staying power.
