This morning, comedian Mammito Eunice posted two photos of herself hanging out with good friend, Vera Sidika.

Her hilarious caption was a reference to lyrics from Wakadinaliś hit song, "Geri Inengi". She wrote,¨Ati come na kinini?¨

What was interesting about her post was the way Kenyans reacted to it.

While some contrasted the significant size difference between the two, others also trolled Vera for looking so different in the photos, they couldn't even recognise her.

This isn't the first time that Vera has surprised fans with her look. Back in mid-2019, the mother of one surprised Kenyans when she posted an image of herself with much darker skin.

At the time she posted the photo, her caption read, “Never be defined by your past ...it was just a lesson, not a life sentence. Feels good to be back!!! Black don’t crack...” 

Vera had previously told Larry Madowo in 2014, that she had spent Sh 5 million on a skin lightening procedure.

¨ I did it the right way…I used the right procedure. I had a great dermatologist from the UK. My body is my business, and it’s a moneymaker. I said if I have to do it (skin lightening), it has to be great. It has to be right.¨
