Otile Brown's ex-lover Nabii Nabayet has hinted at moving on after their much-publicized break-up.

In a recent Q and A session with her fans, Nabayet was tasked to tackle a few things about her former relationship and lessons.

A fan asked her to speak about her experience with a long-distance relationship. Nabayet said it is one of the most difficult things she has ever dealt with.

"I think I can write a book about it. A long-distance relationship is one of the most difficult things I have ever experienced," she said.

"It is extremely tough but it's certainly very possible. It requires your full trust, genuine love and more importantly clear and consistent communication. If those aren't at 100%, don't even bother trying it."

Nabayet further said that technology has made long-distance relationships easy.

"It's very easy to grow apart and misunderstand each other when it's long distance. But thanks to technology you can simply avoid that."

"It's very important to maintain close communication, update each other regularly and be there for each other. Be confident in your relationship and assure your partner that all will be well. Then you are good to go."

Nabayet said she had not given up on love.

"Things don't always go as planned, unfortunately. No matter how many bad experiences you may have, a relationship/ love is always worth the shoot. However, it doesn't mean you must go looking for it. You must let it unfold naturally."

Asked if she is single, Nabayet said she is in a relationship although single life helped her learn that happiness does not come from other people.

"I am not single but single life is good. My heart is okay. It hasn't been broken recently.

It helps you learn that your happiness does not come from another person. You develop skills for self-fulfilment, contentment and happiness. You learn to be happy."

She also admitted that it was not easy handling social media pressure.

"It was crazy at first. I was a private person and it took me a long time to adjust to it. But luckily, I have never been trolled just some unverified false stories but you adjust to it eventually."
