Singer Jovial has asked people to stop criticizing her over a video of her dancing with TV anchor Rashid Abdalla.
Jovial says Rashid Abdalla and Lulu Hassan are her bosses and she was only doing her job at the birthday party.
Jovial asked women to stop projecting their insecurities on an innocent act claiming that women have so many problems in their homes but instead of solving them, they use her as an excuse.
"The insults on the trending video of me at work... Ok, I'm just seeing women projecting their insecurities on an innocent act! Mumepata kisababu ya kufungua roho! (You got a reason to pour out your heart)," Jovial wrote.
The Mi Amor hitmaker said her video gave women the freedom to speak freely on the internet about their private and most deeply felt emotions.
"You can tell they are dealing with a lot in their homes! The couple is my bosses those who know the series know better!
Fix your homes and stop using me as an excuse! I'm an entertainer and I was doing my job! By the way, I was paid very good money. Cheers to more."
In the video that has gone viral on social media, Lulu Hassan interupted a dancing moment between Rashid Abdalla and Jovial.
Lulu jumped in between them, grabbed him and danced for a few seconds, and left the stage with a warm smile on her face.

However, Lulu had no issues as she is the one who invited jovial to perform at he husband's birthday party and even thanked jovial for doing an amazing job.
"I can't thank you enough @jovial_ke. You are destined for greatness, apart from being your bosses we are your number one fans. Keep on flying our fag high. we love you dadaa. Keep on keeping on," read Lulu's message to Joval.
