Keroche Heiress Anerlisa Muigai has spoken out about how she deals with forgetting an ex.

Anerlisa, who separated and eventually divorced her Tanzanian husband Ben Pol last year says she can not stand seeing even a handkerchief of an ex.

She advises people to do the same when they want their partners to forget their exes and focus on the new relationship.

"If you want your partner to completely forget their exes, is by first removing and replacing anything they ever left in that house."

She added, "Your partner will even respect you more because they will see you have the same power of replacement.  I am that person who can't even stand seeing even a handkerchief bought by an ex laying around.

Anerlisa and Ben Pol got married in March 2020 and Ben Pol filed for divorce in early 2021.

For a long time, the two had been silent about their marriage and divorce.

In an interview with 'Simulizi na Sauti', the 'Moyo Mashine' singer would later say he has since moved on and has no feelings left for his Kenyan sweetheart.

Ben Pol said their separation was on and off.

"We separated last year for like one and half months, then in September, we got back together and in February this year, we separated again. I think I did my best from my end to keep our love, but I can't change anything."

He added that they were both living their best lives.

"We lived in our truth. I did my best and gave my all. I invested in that love and that is why I was affected after it ended. The pain was still the same for two to three months."
