A statue of RnB singer Rihanna was unveiled at the Met Gala awards that were held on Monday, May 2, 2022. 

The statue showcases the Barbardian singer embracing her first pregnancy in style. 

It was molded to resemble a picture of Rihanna used in the April 2022 Vogue magazine with the tittle; Oh,Baby! Rihanna's plus one. 

Sharing a video of the statue's placement at the Met Museum, Rihanna wrote; 

"Shut down the met in marble! what’s more gilded than that? Lol! Thank you @metmuseum and @voguemagazine for this historic tribute! y’all bad for this one!"

“The statue of ‘Eirene (The Personification of Peace)’ is usually the highest-profile marble goddess @themetmuseum Greco-Roman galleries. But now we’ve got @badgalriri, straight off this month’s Vogue cover,” Vogue captioned the video. 

The singer has been rocking her first pregnancy in a unique style, with stylish appearances inspired by her cloth line Fenty and other designs.
