Ringtone says motorists whose cars were destroyed by trees in Naivasha should repent

Ringtone claimed it is a 'punishment' from God.

• Strong winds in Naivasha caused an ageing acacia tree to collapse and fall on 5 cars.

• Unlike Ringtone's notion, the tragedy that occurred last evening destroyed cars that belonged to revelers and families that were at the resort.

Due to the heavy rains in the country, trees fell on cars inside a campsite in Naivasha. But gospel singer Ringtone Apoko believes that it was a punishment from God.

Reacting to a post by Mpasho on the natural calamity that occurred at the Naivasha campsite, Ringtone claimed the motorists are supposed to repent.

He claimed that the calamity affected people who were cheating on their partners.

"People steal wifes, girlfriend and fiances of people and go eating them and God is who he is worked in miracle ways. Watu watubu dhambi na wawachane na wanawake wa wenzio hii ni onyo ya mungu," Ringtone wrote in his usual broken English.

Come on Ringtone! A natural calamity affects anyone, even the righteous ones. This is not a Nigerian movie where such things happen.

Unlike Ringtone's notion, the tragedy that occurred last evening destroyed cars that belonged to revelers and families that were at the resort.

One person is said to have been injured and 5 cars destroyed after a giant Acacia tree fell on the cars.

Strong winds in the area caused the ageing tree to collapse with visitors at the hotel fleeing for safety.

However, not only Ringtone had this idea that the tragedy was a punishment from God.
