In a previous post on her social media, Jackie had shared that she is anxious about her delivery date. She said labour pains scare her, even though she would still want to have a normal delivery.
"If there is one thing I am fearing it’s labour. My first baby I laboured for 9 hours and pushed for 45 minutes. But I still want a normal birth. I am not praying for complications but I am still o.k," Jackie had shared. .
The baby shower comes days after Jackie Matubia's engagement to her fiancee Blessing.
On April, 24 Blessing went down on his knee to propose to Jackie during his own birthday celebration.
"He proposed and I said Yes! I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life laughing and loving you always!" an excited Jackie shared after saying 'I do'.
The couple have made the milestones after months of keeping their relationship secret.
"I wasn't putting it out there for people I was doing it for me. It's all about keeping private things private and social things social. We are both actors so we are already in the public eye so this is the only thing we have that is private," Matubia said about keeping the relationship private.
