Sean Andrew, who is one of the grandchildren of the late former President Mwai Kibaki has mouned him in a unique way.

When his grandpa was being laid to rest at his Othaya home, Sean was among the Kibaki family that were present at the graveside.

He took a spade and poured some soil inside the grave.

Shortly after, Sean handed over the spade and went on to take off a ring from his last finger. He then threw the ring inside the grave and walked away.

The sign from Sean Andrew has stood out as a unique way of paying tribute to his late grandfather.

As a Kibaki, the ring must made of pure gold, diamond, or silver. Not the Sh 100 ring you buy at Dubois road and wear on your index finger.

Here is a video of Sean's actions.

A sneak peak of Sean's Instagram account shows that he is fond of wearing two rings on his right hand. One on the thumb and the other on the small finger.

When his grandfather Mwai Kibaki died, Sean penned a moving tribute.

"I'm amazed by all the support from you all. From calls, Texts, dms...Even when we meet. It is your positivity that is getting us through this and I humbly appreciate you with all my heart. Truly thank you," he wrote on his social media.
