Sean Andrew took to Twitter to thank his loyal fans who have been with him, supporting him since his grandfather, Mwai Kibaki's death, that took place on Friday last week.
Unlike Kibaki's other family members, Sean Andrew had uttered no word to fans after his grandfather's passing on.
He recently said that the calls and messages he has been receiving from fans have been cooling him and he feels better and that he doesn't take them for granted.
"I'm amazed by all the support from you all. From calls, Texts, dms...Even when we meet. It is your positivity that is getting us through this and I humbly appreciate you with all my heart. Truly thank you," he wrote.
He admitted that he is grateful for every single person who has been with him and that had showed him love during this trying period.
Sean Andrew added that the people who had showered him with words of encouragement were true in heart.
Sean Andrew acknowledged that since his grandfather's death, he had changed all of his social media profiles to the colour black.
The late Mwai Kibaki's send-off preparation is ongoing and repairing of the roads leading to Kibaki's home is also in progress for a smooth journey.
President Kenyatta broke the news of the fallen former president on and Kenyans immediately went into mourning.
Kenyans have been sending their condolences messages to Kibaki's family members as Kibaki was a legend to many and his death has brought so much sorrow to the country.
Thousands of Kenyans have been streaming into the Parliament Buildings to view the body of former President Mwai Kibaki.
