Jacque Maribe has come out to deny claims that she wants a husband. The former Citizen TV presenter had to issue a statement on her Instastories after what one must assume was an onslaught of DM's from thirsty men.

The mother of one wrote incredulously, "Eh eh no!!! No husband!!! These DMs please!"

Jacque is clearly being stressed by people on her DMs so much so that she had to issue such a statement.

But I can't blame her. Jacque might well be in a serious relationship with a man called Ben Kariuki.

In January, the mother of one was spotted kissing Ben at Zero 19 Lounge in Nyeri Town. The two seemed to be in the throes of passion as they smooched without a care for the people around them.

Then a month later, Ben and Jacque were seen spending time together at a prayer and meditation spot called Heavens Gate Prayer Mountain.

The media personality shared images of the experience on her Instastories showing how at peace and joy she was with Ben and the friends who had joined her on the trip.

Ben himself has also posted numerous images of himself with Jacque on his Facebook page with the two seeming to enjoy a very good relationship.

But since then, sightings of the two have been rare. So what gives? Have Jacque and Ben decided to go their separate ways or are they keeping their relationship hidden like a politician's promise?

While we might not know the current status of her relationship with Ben what we do know is how close Jacque came to being called Mrs. in the past.

Let's not forget that in early 2018, Jacque was still a high-flying political reporter who had been swept off her feet by the charming bad-body, Joe Irungu.

She was so smitten with him that she even accepted his proposal for her to become his fiancee'. But sadly we all know how that ended up...
