Speaking in a past interview Matubia said she did not publicise her union with Madiba as she respects his privacy.
"I respect his privacy and I also respect mine. I wasn't putting it out there for people I was doing it for me. It's all about keeping private things private and social things social.
We are both actors so we are already in the public eye so this is the only thing we have that is private."
Nana and Madiba made their relationship public on February 14, which is Valentine's Day.
She further spoke about why the two decided to go public with their relationship on February 14.
"We knew they would reveal on February 14. It was taking longer and preventing them from going on dates together because someone would see them. I wish them all the best and I want to tell them marriage works," she said.
