Kenyan men have defended themselves against claims that they are never open to seeking help when they have infertility issues.

They did this during the morning conversation on Classic 105.  Research (sperm related) was carried out on 2500  Kenyan aged between 30-and 60. Out of those, 2000 men had a low sperm count.

According to most of the male callers, women are to blame for taking contraceptives. Some of the responses are below;

*Steve

 "Men are fertile but women nowadays are using contraceptives and don't want to give birth. The only thing that can make me seek the help of a doctor is if my tool refused to stand up."

*Mutua

"Kwani where do these pregnancies come from, how then do you claim there is an infertility problem. That is just propaganda."

*Omondi

"How do you expect me to go to the hospital and ask the doctor to help me jump start my engine? Stop saying that we might be bringing up someone else's kid, such things can make one take drastic measures."

*Bob

"If as a man you have a potbelly and then go and enjoy junk food you will underperform. The junk food blocks the tubes and you end up shooting blanks. The most important thing is diet. Kisii men are the best when it comes to bedroom delivery thanks to the food we eat."

Maina says Kenyan men should seek help instead of being in denial.

Other female callers said that when the pressure is too much from their husbands and in-laws for them to deliver, they sought help elsewhere for peace to reign.

Why do men find it hard asking for help on matters of infertility?
