Cristiano Ronaldo announced some sad news to his legions of fans and followers, yesterday evening.

The 37-year-old Portuguese international revealed that he and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, 28, had delivered their twin babies but unfortunately their son had died. 

"We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time. Our baby boy, you are our angel. We will always love you."

The five-time Ballon d'Or award winner now has 5 children following the birth of their baby girl. He and Georgina met when she was working as a shop assistant for Gucci in Madrid while he was playing for Los Blancos.

The newborn girl will be Georgina's second biological child with the footballer as his elder children are with other women.

Since she started dating Ronaldo, one can see that Georgina has formed a close bond with the 3 elder kids.
