Amber Ray is single.

So it her ex-basketballer bae, IB Kabba.

Kabba detailed their short-lived whirlwind romance that led to a very bitter and acrimonious break-up.

Speaking to SPM Buzz, the Sierra Leonian sportsman explained that he met Amber Ray at Mialle in Lavington where he had been invited for a night out by pals.

"There was a Liverpool game that we had gone to watch and that is how we met and exchanged contacts."

At the time, Amber Ray was linked to Jimal Marlow but shortly after, they broke up.

Amber Ray took to social media to say, "I’m at a place where I do not want to build up my next partner. It is draining. I’ve done it. I’ve tried to be that ride or die, but it’s such an energy imbalance. I’m tired. I want someone who is already emotionally available, emotionally expressive and finically stable. that’s it.”

Amber Ray followed up with news of her newfound love.

“We ain’t giving up on love never! There is a reason why roho haina mifupa (the heart has no bones). I can’t wait to see what the future holds,” wrote Amber Ray on her Insta Stories.

Kabba spoke about his financial arrangements when he was dating Amber Ray. Asked if he had bought a car, he laughed off that question.

"It is funny because I'm in Kenya and Kenya is not my country. Me coming to Kenya you don't expect me to buy a car I came to someone and she has a car, why can't I use her car what is wrong with me using her car?" he explained.

He sarcastically added,  "No, I'm not rich. I'm a broke guy. I don't have money. I'm not a millionaire. Yes, I'm not rich."

He continued, "I hope to be rich one day and basketball in Africa doesn't pay that much."
