Controversial Kenyan songwriter and performing artist Willy Paul aka Pozze has joined the list of celebrities who decided to embrace the big chop.

Pozze posted a video of himself in a barbershop where he is seen seated in front of a large mirror with a barber standing next to him.

His friend is heard jeering at him asking him if he's ready for the big decision and Willy Paul is heard saying he isn't going to chop his hair.

He then lets out a small scream which has the barber a little reluctant to actually chop Pozze's signature hairstyle.

"Chop it off, Chop it off... kwani unaogoapa? Chop it all off." Willy Paul's friend who happens to be recording the video is heard telling the barber in the background. 

The barber then proceeds to raise his scissors and start cutting off strands of the artist's hair.

"They're gone man..." Pozze is heard saying as the video comes to an end.
