Alvin Chivondo came into the limelight after he was slapped with a Ksh 100,000 fine for stealing foodstuff worth over Ksh 3,000 from one of Kenyan's leading supermarkets.

Kenyans felt pity for the 21-year-old and decided to come up and contribute to helping him in his moment of need.

In a recent video comedian, YY went to visit the young man and shared a few words of wisdom with him.

In the video, YY asked him if he had anything to share with the public and Alvin took the opportunity to thank people who'd come through for him. He also promised to work on changing his ways to avoid getting into trouble again.

" I want to say I'm sorry... I'll try my best and change. I won't go back to my ways... I'm really thankful to everyone who has contributed to helping me. May God continue blessing all of you. Siwezi taka kurudi nyuma tena." Alvin said.
