Sharing her experience of going on a blind date Kamene says she met a man who was the exact opposite of what she had seen on Tinder.

Speaking during the Morning Kiss, she said;

"After I came back to Kenya after my marriage failed.I was single and it was December, I was lonely so a friend suggested I join tinder.

I got a couple of matches, we started talking, I was living in Karen so it was showing me people within the same area. I agreed to meet one of the guys in Karen, I put my best foot forward and I go to the meet-up venue."

Kamene says she met someone there sitting alone not knowing he was her date.

"He had a Mwai Kibaki hairstyle, he had some khaki pants and some sandals.

I was waiting for my date while he was also waiting for me not knowing I was already there. In the picture, he looked younger and taller.

He had a very thick Kikuyu accent and all he talked about is his projects. I had to fake a stomach ache and insisted that I wanted to go for a date.  I left 2K on the table and left. Men should show us who they are."

Oga Obinna says he has been a victim as well adding that he won't stop sliding into girls' DM's because of such a small thing.

"I always meet ladies and they are like I always say 'we chat on Instagram. If you ever show your Instagram and he starts looking at your photos he is looking for photos to compare with you.  You don't look the same and he is trying to look for a photo that matches you," he said.
