Environmentalist Anita Soina cleared to vie for Kajiado North seat

• The twenty-two-year-old shared the news on her Instagram page yesterday, saying her candidacy for the Kajiado North MP seat had been cleared.
• Anita Soina will be one of the youngest people vying for political office.

Yesterday, environmental enthusiast, Anita Sonia, shared a post on her Instagram page thanking her party leader, Dr. Isaac Kalua Green, for giving her a good platform to express different levels of leadership.

According to her, it is mostly women and youth who failed to get the chance. The 22-year-old posted a photo on Her Instagram page receiving her certificate of nomination, she wrote;

"I’m so happy to announce that I received my certificate after being cleared by the party as their MP Aspirant for Kajiado North in the coming General election. This is a very special moment as I kick start my political career.

I take this moment to appreciate my party leader Dr. Isaac Kalua Green for giving us a good platform especially for the politically disadvantaged groups (Youths and Women) to express our interests in different levels of leadership as we dream to make our country better," Part of her caption reads.

The young environmentalist urged people to support leadership that will bring change and development, she says not only in Kajiado but in the entire county

"As a Green Politician, a Green thinking action party is the best party for me as it not only has the climate and green agenda as one of the top agendas but is also a party led by a global environmental ambassador. Green Thinking Action Party, Asanteni sana.

To the people of Kajiado North, I believe we are going to support leadership that will actually bring real change and development and most importantly the best representation in parliament. A win for The Green MP Is not only a win for Kajiado North but the entire climate family, Kenya, Africa, and the world." her caption continued.

Anita asks people from North Kajiado to consider her in voting come August 2022 as their next MP, She believes that she can offer good leadership and bring good change.

"I urge all the voters of Kajiado North to support my bid as I seek to use all the spaces and networks to improve livelihoods in our society. Thank you." The young environmentalist concluded.
