Looking at celebrities we assume their lives are perfect but that is far from the truth.

Below are some of the conditions these celebs battle.

DJ Pinye-Ulcerative Colitis

The condition commonly referred to as UC is an autoimmune disease that causes severe inflammation in the colon, ulcers, and potential long-term damage.

Pinye was diagnosed with the condition when he was 23.

Speaking about it in a past interview Pinye says that was the worst time of his life.

"I was diagnosed with UC 23 years ago, soon after returning to Kenya from England It was perhaps one of the worst times in my life. It stole a lot of things from me. I was guilty.

I went from an active lifestyle as a DJ to practically being unable to leave the house."

The condition has no known treatment.

Akuku Danger- Sickle Cell anaemia

Churchill comedian Akuku Danger battles  Sickle Cell Anaemia.

Sickle cell anemia is one of a group of inherited disorders known as sickle cell disease. It affects the shape of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all parts of the body.

Red blood cells are usually round and flexible, so they move easily through blood vessels. In sickle cell anemia, some red blood cells are shaped like sickles or crescent moons.

These sickle cells also become rigid and sticky, which can slow or block blood flow.

There's no cure for most people with sickle cell anemia. Treatments can relieve pain and help prevent complications associated with the disease.

In an interview with Churchill, Oliech said his stammering isn't as bad as it was while growing up as he has worked on it.
