Amber Ray launched her career as a musician yesterday. The mother of one decided to invite the media for the special day where she had an interview with Mungai Eve.

Despite it being a professional event, Amber still opened up about her personal life, speaking about her relationship with her ex-husband, Jimal Rohosafi.

Amber who had been asked about her relationships with her exes, admitted that she was still great friends with them.

"At first, they are very bitter but with time they get used to it. So most of them, I am very close to them. Actually, they are among the people I call when I am in trouble. They will come through for me whatever the time."

So did that mean she still spoke with Jimal? An emphatic, 'Yes', was her answer.

"We talk, we talk. It didn't work but we aren't enemies. We talk."

Was there any truth to the rumour that she was back with him?

"No. You know these bloggers will say anything as they just want attention. As long as the news has anything with Amber in it, people will click on it."

Why did Amber Ray move on so quickly from relationships?

"I live for now. I live for now. So why should I wait crying for someone? I don't know what they are doing with their lives. For me the line is endless. So, 'next'."

Amber also addressed a viral video where she can be heard complaining that a man she was dating had taken her phone. Was she still together with him?

"We are not together and we will never be together."

Amber however refused to speak on whether she was single saying that she preferred to keep that private.
