• Some of the most popular musicians of all time have never won Grammy awards.

• Some artists have several nominations but no Grammy.

Most well-known Hip hop artists seem to have a love/hate relationship with the Grammy Awards. Some of the rap artists have won, like Kanye West has won multiple times, with 24 wins out of 75 nominations.

But there are those who have never won. Below is a list of rappers with the most Grammy nominations that have never won even one Grammy.

Nicki Minaj

She is one of the most famous artists. Nicki Minaj has never taken home a Granny award but she is widely considered by critics among the greatest female rappers of all time. She has received 10 nominations that have not resulted in any win.

DMX

The late Earl Simmons alias DMX has a total of four nominations. He was a master of catchy songs but that never translated in him ever getting a Grammy award.

Busta Rhymes

He is also a great artist and has a total of 12 nominations. Believe it or not, the legendary rapper has never won a Grammy award.

Tupac

He was arguably the most influential rapper ever. Till his death, he didn't even get to win a Grammy award though he received 6 nominations. Tupac also received a post-humous nomination after his death.

Snoop Dog

Rapper Snoop Dog has racked up a total of 19 grammy award nominations. He is still awaiting his first Grammy win.

Rick Ross

If awards for most talked-about performance were being handed out, Rick Ross would no doubt be among the top.

He has been nominated five times, though he hasn't won a Grammy award yet.
