Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has penned a sweet message to celebrate his daughter Sandra's birthday.

An emotional Sonko poured out his heart, saying how he wished Sandra remained his little baby with cute little hands.

"A child is always the most precious in the world. “No matter how far you are, my heart will always beat for you. “I used to love the times when you would climb up to my bed and try to wake me with your little hands. How I wished you never grew up," Sonko penned. 

He went on to say he has accepted Sandra's growth and prays for her success in life. 

"But I am now proud of the amazing person you are today. Have an amazing birthday my lovely daughter.” I always pray for you and your success. Let God give you all that you need in your life. Have a great and healthy life ahead," Sonko added.

This has been the birthday season for the Sonko Family.

Days ago, Sonko's firstborn daughter Saumu Mbuvi hosted close friends and family for an all-white dinner at a posh restaurant. 

However, the party later turned chaotic as Saumu claimed she was attacked by unknown people at the local entertainment joint.

The mother of two accused one of his baby daddies, Senator Anwar Loitiptip of organising the attack. 

"Anwar, shame on you!! Sending your woman and her friends to beat me on my birthday. Leave me in peace," Saumu posted on her Instagram stories.
