Rapper Khaligraph Jones has been known for flaunting his mother on social media.

The whereabouts of Khaligraph's dad had not been so public, it is only in a few incidences that he confirmed his dad passed away.

Now, Khaligraph has gone deep into his family background in his new music dubbed 'Maombi ya Mama'.

In a freestyle snippet shared on his Instagram Khaligraph speaks on his father's death and how his mother stepped up and became his strongest pillar.

"The tunnel were in was so dark...no light at the end. Generational curses resulted to death. Diabetes and blood pressure will murder you if you lack money.

This I am saying because I have witnessed, my dad was a victim and he passed from the sickness all along we were trapped in the system and hoped for the best," Khaligraph raps.

In the song featuring Adasa, the OG opens up that the situation made him value prayers, more so, those from his mother.

"I am telling you things I have not talked about so you understand why I value prayers. Keep strong real winners don’t quit. I contemplated suicide since I had given up on life. Eventually, I pulled through. Where I am today is due to my mom’s prayers," he sings in the freestyle.

Khaligraph rapped to the song seated next to his mum.

The 'Maombi ya Mama' song is featured in Khaligraph's recently released album, Invisible Currency.
