Socialite Vera Sidika has revealed that she spent over Ksh 300,000 for her daughter's bed.
In a post on her Instagram, the mother of one said she will be unveiling baby Asia's nursery next month.
Her daughter will be six months old.
Vera said she imported her daughter's crib from the UK.
"Can't wait to unveil Asia's nursery. At six months. So magical. Damn. Girl be sleeping on a bed worth Ksh 300,000 from the UK.
How I wish I had this life as a newborn. Kweli it's true, we work hard to give our kids what we never had. Aki God bless all mothers doing the best for their babies."
Vera had announced that she would ship all her baby's clothes and crib from the UK.
"What a lucky baby. I didn't grow up lucky and in such luxury but the amount of glam and luxe this baby is about to experience... I wish I was this baby," she posted.
She said giving your all to your kids does not mean giving them an expensive life, but doing the best to provide for them.
"Everyone has their maximum stretch and being rich doesn't mean it's only you who can give the best," she said.
"Every parent out here gives their kids the best to their capabilities and that's what matters. My parents weren't rich. I didn't grow in luxury but they gave me the best they could ever give."
