Anerlisa Muigai was interviewed by Business Today. The famous daughter of the Keroche Breweries founders spoke about her experiences in the business world.

Anerlisa who is the CEO of Nero Limited explained why she had started the water company which comes in two brands; Executive Still Water and Life Still Water.

She told the website that she was bored with the uniformity of all the water brands at the time in the market and wanted to re-invigorate the market.

She added that she also had a problem with the salty taste. These concerns were the foundational ideas that guided how she would package and market her product.

During the interview, she also disclosed that the Nero water bottle was inspired by a champagne bottle.

What many might not know is that before Anerlisa's successes, she had once been rejected for a marketing job she wanted at her own parent's Keroche company.

“I first applied for a Marketing job in Keroche breweries but due to lack of enough experience, I was denied the job 🙁 so what next? I decided to start Nero company Ltd to produce #executivestillwater, to learn more and maybe re-apply for the marketing job," she said in a previous social media post.
