YouTuber Elodie Zone has lost her young brother Gachui Karanja. 

The social media personality took to her Instagram to share a snippet of her brother's obituary in a newspaper. 

Elodie did not explain what killed the 20-year-old, but only shared memories of the close relationship they shared.

"Forever in my heart, forever in my prayers. You and I were never supposed to cross paths but the universe gave me a baby brother in you.

You pushed me to work harder, helped me move into my first apartment, were a shoulder to cry on and kept me protected from a lot of harsh things people would say about me online. I love you forever baby bro," Elodie mourned. 

The 26-year-old YouTuber has kept her family life a closely guarded secret. Little is known about her siblings and parents since they live in Europe.
