• Mwanamke Wa Shoka celebrates women in different aspects in life.

Kenyan TV presenter, Lulu Hassan, has been crowned 'mwanamke wa shoka', an award organised by Tanzania media house, EFM.

'Mwanamke wa Shoka' is an annual event organized by the EFM under the leadership of their able CEO Francis Ciza aka Majizzo, to celebrate women in different aspects of life.

Taking to Instagram Lulu shared the good news with her fans after receiving the award during a gala ceremony in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.

“Taking this opportunity to thank God for the far he has brought me, but most of all I want to say I couldn’t do this without all of you. THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING ME.

Her husband Rashid Abdalla also took to his socials to celebrate his wife with a beautiful message below,

"Hongera sana @loulou_hassan kwa tuzo hii ya heshima. Uwepo wako na mchango wako katika tasnia ya filamu umehisiwa Afrika Mashariki. Endelea kugusa nafsi za wengi ❤️."
