RIP: Jose Chameleone, Pallaso, Weasel pay tribute to the late AK47

•AK47 was said to be the best dancehall singer in Uganda at the time

Ugandan celebrities are paying tribute to the late Emmanuel Mayanja aks AK47. The dance hall singer died in 2015 in what is said to be a mysterious death.

He was brother to Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone, Pius Mayanja aka Pallaso and Douglas Mayanja aka Weasel Manizo.

His memorial service is being held at his resting place, Kalangaro-Mityan, Uganda.

Sharing a photo of his brother on social media Pallaso asked fans to pray for the soul of AK47.

"Let’s pray for our brother and all our people that we have lost along the way. It is very important. We all will need someone to pray for us someday. R.I.P My bro May God have mercy on you."

Jose Chameleone shared a photo cooking for the guests that would attend the memorial and wrote;

"Beyond the Glamor and all the Glitter, I am one of the sons and great grandson of the Great men before me. East or west home is the best. I can’t forget that there is a reality in every one of us. Rest in Power my ever loved Emmanuel Mayanja. Today, every day all the days we pray for you"

Weasel, one half of Radio&Weasel, shared a photo of the later singer with a lighting candle.

The late singer  rose to fame in 2012 with his song "Champion." At the time of his peak, he was said to be the best dancehall singer.
