On the 16th March 2003, the Kenyan music industry lost a legend, Issa Mmari Wangui aka E-Sir.
The 'Boomba Train' hitmaker was travelling from Nakuru to Nairobi for a show. He was accompanied by Nameless.
19 years later, he is still remembered and his songs are still played. Kenyan celebrities have come out to pay tribute to the fallen hero.
Wahu thanked E-Sir for sharing his gift with the World.
"19 years today. But forever in our hearts. Thank you for sharing your gift with the world. For inspiring so many to follow their dreams. For just being you....a really nice guy who became south C's, and indeed Kenya's finest. We love and miss you. Forever in our hearts."
Nameless is still inspired by him as they were best of friends.
