Gospel singer Size 8 says her marriage with DJ Mo was not easy and at some point, she packed and left.
Speaking in an interview with Chito and Cyd on Kiss FM, the mother of two said in 2016 she locked her husband out and threw his belongings outside after they disagreed.
In 2018, she walked out of her marriage and rented her own house.
"Before I matured into a lot of things, I used to overreact, ata kuna day in 2016 nilifungia Mo nje, alikuta vitu zake nje na mlango nimefunga."
She said that in her early marriage days, she used to overreact to small issues.
"I've really sumbuad, I have packed and gone and I have really overreacted. I have done all that and I thank God because right now I handle things in a very different mature way," she said.
She added that she speaks about her experiences to encourage other couples.
"What I like about me and my husband, is we are honest about our marriage walk, marriage is a beautiful journey but it has its ups and downs."
She added, "I like being honest with marriage because when you’re honest, you encourage other people, when you paint a picture of perfection, you make other people feel like they’re in hell…I can say I have really matured and I don’t pack and go after every argument."
Size 8 is currently promoting her album 'Gospel Anthem'.
