KRG the Don is beefing with Mbogi Genje over a music video uploaded on YouTube.

The crew claims that the rapper had no right to upload the song without their consent as it was basically their song featuring him.

The trouble all began when the group asked the rapper to pay them for them to show up for the video shoot as he had previously done with Mbuzi Geng for the collabo they did.

In an interview with Mungai Eve, the rapper claimed that it was not even his idea to do a collabo with the crew but that of Vans and Dj Lyta.

"Nyinyi vijana, mnadhani na run a charity organisation? I give money  and invest in the people I want to."

He claims that the crew never catered for the production cost among many other expenses.

After he uploaded the song on his channel which got over 30k likes in a day the crew pulled down the song, trashing his name saying how some of his songs were originally not written by him.

Don says that the reason behind their ranting and the outburst is they are clout chasing with his name as he is a big brand recognised both locally and internationally and he is ready to fight a battle as it comes.

"Once you've chosen violence and you get a bigger violence, embrace the battle, acha kucomplain complain kama mtoto."

He went ahead to talks about big Kenyan rappers he has done collabos with without the unnecessary drama.

"Me nimefanya collabo na Khalighraph for free hakunilipisha anything.Na mimi akiinita siezi mlipisha. It's respect cos we are colleagues at work"

In his view, KRG went ahead and bashed them as struggling artists producing thug music for people of a low calibre.
