Peter Kamau who plays the mean character of Biko in the TV drama, 'Selina' says he will never reveal his wife on social media as that is the only part of his life that is sacred to him.
"I already share a large part of my life with my fans, and it can get overwhelming," he said.
Biko plays mean and strict roles.
In ‘Tahidi High,’ he was the strict teacher, Mr Wanyama while in ‘Selina’, he is the no-nonsense Biko, the businessman.
Speaking during an online forum by Maisha Magic dubbed, Maisha Mapenzi', Biko began to fidget when questioned about his relationship status.
He said he is “dating, and later mentioned that he has a wife.”
Online fans were excited to learn that he is not just Mr Fix-It, a name he has come to be known as thanks to his character on Selina – but also that he has actually managed to fix his own life.
On whether he would be introducing his wife to his fans, he said;
"I like to keep my private life out of the limelight."
"I will not be sharing my private and family life with my fans because that is my escape. Being famous has many challenges, and for now, I prefer to leave things as they are."
Speaking about the challenges he faced with his fans when he is of air, he said he has had to deal with a few ladies who have been unhappy about his interference with Selina and Nelson on set.
He narrated how a fan once abused him and lashed out at him for his character in the series, Selina.
