Veteran actor, Philip Kamau has turned a year older today.

As expected, his friends and family sent him birthday messages to celebrate the beginning of a new year.

His wife, Catherine Kamau wished him a successful year ahead.

"Happy Birthday Baba Njeri...may this year be your best year yet, may the universe conspire in your favor, yaani uomoke niamkange saa nane mchana."

Everyone was eagerly awaiting Abel Mutua's message as the two friends are known for their banter with each other.

Abel in his message asked him to start his medication early as old age is catching up with him.
