Awinja - the new musician in town has set the bar high for artists who would like to have a collabo with her.
The 'Sio Lazima' hitmaker is in disbelief over the number of views that her song has garnered on YouTube.
Speaking to SPM, the singer cum actress said she did not expect the music to blow and amass over 1.5 Million views on YouTube.
"When I was creating the song, I did not want it to blow... I was just having fun with it. I am happy about it, the support was amazing," she said.
Awinja acknowledged that the curiosity of Kenyans is what made them want to see the song since they only recognize her as an actress.
On releasing another song, Awinja said;
"I will just surprise you, right now I do not know whether I am a musician or not."
The mother of one further joked on how the song has made her value big and has attracted the attention of Canadian Rapper Drake.
"I only charge 5 million for a collabo with starters...local people. Drake had DMed me sometime back, he wanted us to do a mix of the song. I decided to leave foreigners first and deal with locals," said Awinja.
