Nyawira Gachugi wife to gospel artiste Moji Short Baba says she predicted he would propose on the exact day he did.

Moji proposed in February 2021 to the disappointment of his female fans.

"A year ago today, I said yes to @mojishortbabaa. I remember how that morning I woke up and wrote in my journal..."Today, Moji is going to propose".

I was nervous but excited because even then I knew that this was the man I wanted to be with forever." Wrote Nyawira.

 Today as I went back to that journal entry and the scripture on that day was "The Lord Himself Goes before you, and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:8.God loves me friends and Moji is proof that God gives me the best.

On the other hand, Moji says proposing and marrying Nyawira was the best decision he ever made.

"A year ago I went down on one knee! (For a short man it's not that far niko down anyway).

It was the best decision I have ever made! And it was the beginning of something so beautiful! I am truly blessed to have you!! To forever my wife!"

The couple celebrated 1 year since the proposal yesterday and we couldn't be happier for them.

In a past interview with The Star, Moji shared that he met his wife in church.

"I met my wife in church three years ago and it has been an amazing journey walking towards this direction."

He added that he would have wished to invite most of his close friends but due to the coronavirus pandemic restrictions, he was only able to invite a few of them.
